
Your Vulnerability Helps Others
Oct 01, 2025I have learned that the things we speak about most are often the things we have personally walked through. Our struggles, our growth, and even our failures become the very stories that can lift someone else.
It is never fun to sit in that space of feeling low. The moments when we think we are not enough, not equipped, or not capable of living out the dreams that God has placed in our hearts can feel heavy. Often, we stop ourselves from moving forward because of the limiting beliefs that hang over us like a cloud.
But here is what I have discovered. Sharing our stories, even when it feels uncomfortable, is powerful. If our honesty and vulnerability help just one person feel less alone, then every step we take into that openness is worth it.
I remind myself of this often. I have written a workbook on limiting beliefs. I have created a course on it too. And yet, I am still in the work myself. These struggles do not simply vanish. The journey is more about recognizing when those thoughts show up and choosing not to let them control how we think, feel, or show up in the world.
Even now, I get nervous doing things like interviews, speaking, or writing publicly about my experiences. Sometimes I feel myself slipping back into old patterns of doubt. But then I stop and remind myself that I have proven, time and time again, that I can move forward anyway. That is where hope lives. Not in perfection, but in the courage to keep showing up.
So if you are reading this and you find yourself in that same space, know this. You are not alone. Limiting beliefs may still surface, but you get to decide what to do with them. The more you understand yourself and the more you allow vulnerability to lead the way, the stronger you will become on the other side.
Your story matters. Your voice matters. And the moments you choose to share from a place of honesty may be exactly what someone else needs to hear to find their strength too.
